Community Environment Day at David Crombie Park

Community Environment Day is returning to David Crombie Park!
This is a great opportunity to properly dispose of electronic, hazardous, and other kinds of waste which you can't put at the curb, including paint, batteries and light bulbs.

Time: 10AM to 2PM
Location: David Crombie Park (131 The Esplanade by Frederick St)

We are offering two workshops - registration is required as space is limited so sign up below!

Donations will also be accepted on a variety of items that could be reused by others in our community, such as clothing, small appliances, and electronics. For a full list of items you can and cannot bring, visit the City's website.

Community Environment Days were introduced in 1991 to encourage Toronto residents to divert their unwanted household items and household hazardous waste from landfill. Since then, CEDs have successfully diverted hundreds of thousands of tonnes of material from landfill. In 2023, we helped divert over 400,000 kgs of material from landfills, including:

• 80,175 kg of electronics
• 65,457 of Salvation Army donations
• 307,510 kg of household hazardous waste
