Send a message to the provincial Minister of Transportation to:
- fully fund the King/Liberty GO station
- expedite all day, 15-minute service across their GO lines
The Provincial government is putting the King/Liberty GO Station at risk by refusing to fund it as committed and asking the City to pay more or defer station development, despite it being a provincial project to improve GO Transit lines. So far, the province has only put 13% of the costs, while the City has contributed 52%.
This provincial government has shown that they are very concerned with congestion in Toronto, and fulfilling their commitments to building better public transit is a proven solution.
