Ontario Place is a treasured public space, a site of international heritage importance and well-used, well-loved parkland. As your City Councillor, I am committed to continuing to fight for a public, inclusive, and green Ontario Place for everyone to enjoy.
In September, the City is expecting to receive a revised planning application from Infrastructure Ontario to redevelop the provincially owned lands at Ontario Place. Join the next round of community consultation to have your voice heard on these plans.
Last April, hundreds of people attended in-person and virtual meetings on the application, with many more providing comments to City staff online, overwhelmingly stating strong opposition to the proposal. You can read a summary of the comments here.
Your participation is so important in this next round of the City of Toronto’s public engagement on the updated development application for the developer Therme’s private water spa and Public Realm Master Plan at Ontario Place. Your voice matters.
