Getting People Moving on our Waterfront
On our waterfront, we have made so much progress on building new neighbourhoods with places to live, work and visit, community infrastructure like recreation centres and child care, green spaces, and more.
Along with growth, we need good rapid transit for our waterfront. The Waterfront East LRT is making progress on design and planning for funding and I am committed to getting it implemented. And, we need improvements to transit right now.
I am proud to advance dedicated bus lanes on Queens Quay E with the TTC to get people moving, starting this spring.
I ensured these bus lanes will be able to be used by TDSB and TCDSB buses, getting neighbourhood kids to school and home faster.
