Since the 2022 emergency incident, I have been working with the Bathurst Quay Neighbourhood Association and the Toronto Emergency Management to improve response and support our community members. As a result of this work together, I am happy to share the finalized Bathurst Quay Community Response Handbook.
This handbook was developed in collaboration with community partners to support residents with emergency preparedness and neighbourhood resilience. Community members wanted practical resources, clear guidance for a range of emergency situations, and information to help them stay informed and connected.
As the Bathurst Quay neighbourhood continues to grow and welcome increased activity and visitors throughout the year, having accessible and reliable preparedness information is more important than ever.
A virtual information session will be held on Monday, July 27th from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM. You can sign up to receive information about the meeting and the link to join.
