Some of the new investments in Spadina-Fort York include:
Housing and Transportation:
- Affordable housing at 150 Queens Wharf, and Dundas and Ossington is moving forward
- Road reconstruction on Ossington Avenue
- Improvements to the Jack Layton Terminal
- The 505 Richmond YMCA is being funded
Parks:
- Two new parks are funded, creating Rees Park at Lower Garrison Creek Park
- 470 Queen St lands being transferred to Parks for a future park
- Park improvements at Victoria Memorial Square, and David Crombie
- Path work is being done at Trinity Bellwoods
- Lands south of Canoe Landing Park is being developed with the Bentway
Public Spaces:
- State of good repair work & development of the East Wing is being completed at Union Station
- Work is accelerating for the long awaited Wellington Destructor
- AODA compliance at Theatre Passe
- Updated public art at Salmon Run
- Restoration work at Fort York
- Alexandra Park Child Care Centre
