Toronto is getting new, faster, higher capacity, electric ferries! They will make the trip to Toronto Island Park even better. You're invited to be a part of the new ferry naming!
Boat naming is a long-standing tradition. It's about identity, connection and celebrating what matters. As part of the City’s naming process for the ferries I brought suggestions submitted to me by Torontonians to the Ferry Naming Committee made up of community members, waterfront and Island stakeholders, and City staff who brought their own options too. After careful review of the submissions, a shortlist of names was developed for a public vote.

Here are the guidelines for participating:
- You must be a resident of Toronto
- Voting is limited to one vote per household
The deadline to submit your vote is Monday April 6 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
